Certificate Course - French
In tune with the goal of the college to roll out students of global quality, French in the form of a certificate course was introduced. In this era of globalization, French remains the most sought after language across the world. The college considered it imperative to introduce the language in order to provide the students ‘a window to the world’. With the growing emphasis on tourism across the world, knowledge of a foreign language will be an added advantage for the local learners as well as the tourists thereby accelerating our tourism industry.

Objectives:
  • To introduce a new language into their life
  • To give them basic knowledge in the French language with a strong footing in grammar
  • To open them to the French culture, cuisine, history and the land through the French language
  • To allow them to have a better insight into their own language and culture
  • To equip them for careers at the global level
Contents of the course:
  • Basic grammar: Definite and indefinite articles, colors, adjectives, verbs, numbers, prepositions tenses, conjugation of verbs, translation etc
  • Basic vocabulary is introduced during the course to help the students to communicate in French.
