Feast of St. Aloysius Gonzaga
Just like every year this year too the feast of St.Aloysius Gonzaga was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur.

In honour of St.Aloysius an Eucharistic celebration was held for the catholic students.

The cultural programme began with a prayer song led by the school choir. Lavita Masceranhas was the Master of ceremony. Master Shravith Shetty, the SPL welcomed the dignitaries on the dais. Our headmaster Rev.Fr.Gilbert Saldhana SJ  administered the oath to all the Council Members. The chief guest, Fr.Edward Rodrigues who presided over the function, and also gave away the prizes to the winners of the Quiz and drawing competitions. Mr.  Leo Fernandis, a former teacher of the school was the guest of honour.

The Chief Guest in his speech said that, “We must follow the footsteps of St.Aloysius, be a prayerful person and have faith in God.”He also said that one must respect their seniors as well as their juniors. He continued saying that, everyone should live with a purpose and with an aim in life.

Rev.Fr.Gilbert Saldhana SJ the headmaster who spoke later said that it doesn’t matter how long you live life; it matters how well you live it. He in his speech mentioned that St.Aloysius lived with a purpose; so he asked the students to have that aim in life.

Later a play “Ahankaradha Anthya” was performed by the members of the dramatics association. The programme concluded with the Vote of thanks delivered by the ASPL Master Shawn Dennis Lobo. The entire programme was co-ordinated by Mrs. Diana Goveas.
