Harmony Day
With the main purpose to encourage people to say no to racism, reaffirm our shared values as a community in a multicultural society, the Harmony Day was celebrated.The students gave a meaningful programme which symbolized a conscious beginning of universal harmonious enlightenment and culture of harmonious thinking.
SUPW Activity
The third SUPW Activity was organized which included the production of tangible goods like making of sari skirt, Burmuda shorts and learning the skill of darning.
Elocution Competition
The Literary Club organized an Elocution Competition on the topic “Are we free from domestic terror”. Mrs Janet Dsouza, Headmistress, Rosario Higher Primary School was the Judge for the competition.
Feast of St Ignatius Loyola
 
To highlight the special occasion of the feast of St Ignatius Loyala, Founder of the Jesuit Community and the feast of St Aloysius Gonzaga, the Patron saint of Aloysian Institutions a Programme was organized.         Rev. Fr Anand Pereira SJ, the Chief Guest gave his message about the significance of the day.
Human Rights day
 
With the prime motive of the realization of all human rights - social, economic and cultural as well as civil and political rights which are hampered by discrimination, a programme was organized by the students under the coordination of Mr Jerome D’Souza, Lecturer.
Mr Nikesh Shetty, Advocate, Mangalore Taluk , the chief guest in his speech added that the Human Rights places on each of us the duty to stand up, not just for our own rights but also for those of others - and to help turn this vision into a reality.
Field Trip
 
The various clubs arranged a field trip for the students to the Manipal Planetarium and the museum.
Patriotic singing competition
A Patriotic singing competition was conducted for the students, prior to the celebration of Independence Day. Mrs Shirley Albuquerque was the judge for the competition.
Science Club- Investigatory Project
The science club organized an investigatory project competition for its members where the students had to demonstrate a PowerPoint presentation of the work done on their respective projects. Mrs Farita Viegas, Principal was the judge for the competition.
64th Independence Day Celebration
The Celebration Ceremony of the 64th Independence Day of India began with the Flag Hoisting by Prof Harsha Paul, HOD of Bioscience, St Aloyisus College, Mangalore.
Yoga Camp
A half day yoga camp was conducted by Mr. Kushalappa, Coordinator of Pranav Yoga Centre, Mangalore and his team members for the students, which aimed at ensuring physical and mental well being in day to day life.
Session on Models of Teaching
In order to provide a long term outcome of instruction and to increase student’s capabilities to learn easily and effectively in the future, a practical session on models of teaching was conducted where the students gave a description of Concept Attainment Model (CAI) and Inquiry Training Model (ITM).
