Special Features
Remedial Education:
The ‘option for the poor ’policy of the management is well- supported in the college through remedial education. Slow learners are identified in the beginning of the year. Regular coaching classes and tests are conducted during and after college hours free of cost.
 
Counselling Services:
Counselling   service is provided to students to help them cope with academic and other emotional problems. Counselling is specially given to students who are academically slow learners, those with attendance shortage and those about whom there are reports of misbehaviour. A lot of counselling centres on poor academic performance. The college provides well qualified and trained counselling.
 
Mentoring System:
Each class will have a teacher who will function as a Mentor, to create an adequately supportive climate at work. The function of the Mentor is more a matter of providing the micro-environment in which the talents of a person can flourish. The Mentor, as an animator, takes personal interest in each student’s achievement and transforms a class into an effective team. A special mentor has been appointed to look after the well-being of the foreign students.
 
Value Education:
The college has been offering all students a course in value education, to set before them high human and moral values that everyone, as well-integrated citizens of our country, should possess.
 
Spiritual Formation:
Spiritual formation, as a part of our student’s integral growth is of primary importance to this college. Regular classes in Christian formation are taken up with the help of Diocesan and religious priests and lay persons. A one day prayer seminar is conducted for all the students to help them grow spiritually.
 
Campus Ministry:
Campus Ministry provides prayer and reflection opportunities and pastoral care to students of all faiths and spiritualities. Outreach and immersion camps are organized through campus ministry.
 
Incentives:
The college offers certificates and awards for outstanding performance and regularity. Financial aid is offered to poor students by way of management scholarships.
 
Scholarship:
The central and state governments offer scholarships, fee concession and freeships to deserving students. The college also offers some endowed scholarships. All scholarships, fee concessions and freeships given by the government or college are subject to regular attendance, good conduct and satisfactory progress. Information regarding scholarships and fee concessions will be posted on the notice board from time to time, and also in the college calendar.
 
Parent - Teachers Association:
Parent – teachers association is an active organization, helping the management to guide the college to meet the needs of the students and society. All parents are its members. They must become active members of this association.
 
Programmes:
In addition to association activities the college organizes various programmes  such as Musical Evening, Pre-Unique, state level intellectual and cultural festival, PU-Day, Fancy Fete, Sports Day and the College Day where the entire band of three hundred  students get an opportunity to bring the best out of themselves.
